Zusammenfassung

Enact, based in Zürich, is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform engineer to advance our robotics software stack. You will maintain Bazel infrastructure, improve the Nix deployment environment, and drive reliable CI/CD pipelines including HITL for rapid, safe software delivery.

You will architect and scale Kubernetes and Ray clusters, manage AWS cloud resources, and collaborate with engineering to optimize performance while ensuring high availability in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifikationen

In This Role You Will

• Maintain our Bazel build infrastructure to run smoothly at all times.
• Maintain and improve our Nix robot deployment platform and development environment to enable predictable ML experiments.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines including HITL to accelerate software delivery.
• Architect and scale Kubernetes and Ray clusters to power our training, evaluation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and scale cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support our robotic software stack.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Monitor system health and respond to incidents to ensure high availability.

What We're Looking For

• Strong proficiency running Bazel infrastructure.
• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Nix.
• Experience with building, maintaining and running embedded Linux.
• Experience managing scalable production environments and troubleshooting complex system issues.
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience managing high-performance computing (HPC) clusters.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines for machine learning workflows.
• Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Background in robotics software development or hardware-software integration.
• Familiarity with Rust, C++ and Python.
