Enact is seeking a hands-on Systems Integration role in Zürich to bridge research and deployment, handling end-to-end integration with hardware and AI teams. You will lead on-site deployments, gather real-world data, and boost product readiness for customer environments.

Role emphasizes deployment from lab to field, deep debugging across hardware and software, and collaboration with researchers and customers to push dexterity in robotics forward.

In This Role You Will

• Bridge the gap between core research and real-world deployment: Transition our robot working in a lab to it providing value to our end customers.
• Solve end-to-end integration challenges: Iterate directly with the hardware and AI teams to improve our product and make sure it fits customer needs.
• Drive field testing and iteration: Lead on-site deployments (travel to customer sites expected), perform in-the-field debugging, and gather crucial real-world data to drive subsequent iterations of our technology.

What We're Looking For

• Systems Integration proficiency: A track record of navigating and interfacing with complex, foreign systems, APIs, and networks to build the bridges between our stack and the operational environments of our customers.
• Hands-on deployment experience: Proven track record of taking software and hardware from a simulation/lab environment and successfully deploying it in unpredictable, real-world settings.
• Excellent problem solving: Ability to debug complex, multi-layered system failures - from hardware communication issues to model performance bottlenecks - without relying on existing documentation.
• Communication & Collaboration: A collaborative spirit and curiosity to continuously improve our product, together with researchers and customers, bringing physical AI from the lab to the real world.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Deep Learning deployment experience: Familiarity with deploying models on edge hardware (Jetson Thor).
• Experience Rust, C++, Python, Bazel, Nix, Linux.
• The ability to lift 20+ kg.
• Conversational spoken German, French or Italian.
