Zusammenfassung

Enact in Zürich is seeking a Senior DevOps/ML Infra Engineer to own Bazel infrastructure, manage cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and drive CI/CD with HITL for robotics software. You will scale Kubernetes and Ray clusters and collaborate with engineering to ensure reliable, high-performance systems.

Qualifikationen

• Solid experience running Bazel infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and IaC tools like Terraform and Nix.
• Experience with embedded Linux building, maintenance and operation.
• Experience managing scalable production environments and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

In This Role You Will

• Maintain our Bazel build infrastructure to run smoothly at all times.


• Maintain and improve our Nix robot deployment platform and development environment to enable predictable ML experiments.


• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines including HITL to accelerate software delivery.


• Architect and scale Kubernetes and Ray clusters to power our training, evaluation, and CI/CD pipelines.


• Manage and scale cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support our robotic software stack.


• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance and reliability.


• Monitor system health and respond to incidents to ensure high availability.

What We're Looking For

• Strong proficiency running Bazel infrastructure.


• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Nix.


• Experience with building, maintaining and running embedded Linux.


• Experience managing scalable production environments and troubleshooting complex system issues.


• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools.


• Fluent in English (spoken and written), with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience managing high-performance computing (HPC) clusters.


• Proficiency in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines for machine learning workflows.


• Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes.


• Background in robotics software development or hardware-software integration.


• Familiarity with Rust, C++ and Python.
