Job summary

Blockstream is seeking a Director, Platform & Integration Lead in Switzerland to define how client platforms are technically realized across systems, data environments, and Blockstream infrastructure.

You will work with senior leaders to translate industry strategies into scalable, production-ready platform implementations, ensuring executable designs and interoperable delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in platform architecture, enterprise integration, or large-scale system implementation.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex, multi-system platforms in banking, fintech, or enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in API-first architecture, microservices, event-driven systems, and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to translate high-level architectures into executable platform designs, collaborating with architecture and engineering teams.
• Languages: German or Swiss German and English required; French and/or Italian a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and integration of multi-system client platforms, connecting banking systems, enterprise infrastructure, and Blockstream technologies.
• Partner with Directors and Heads to translate strategy into platform designs and refine technical direction.
• Define and own the platform integration strategy, including APIs, data flows, orchestration, and event-driven architectures.
• Guide engineering across DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and deployment for scalable production systems.
• Act as senior authority for cross-platform dependencies and trade-offs, ensuring alignment of architecture and delivery.
