Umanitek Ag in Zürich is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and operate the Guardian Agent ecosystem. You’ll develop backend services, REST APIs, MCP tooling, and agent runtimes using Node.js and TypeScript, while owning CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

This hands-on role requires systems thinking to keep services secure, scalable, and observable, with collaboration across backend, infrastructure, and AI teams.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of Backend/Platform/DevOps experience.
• Strong Node.js, TypeScript, and Nest.js experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, Express, and microservices.
• Production cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean).
• Docker, CI/CD, and infra automation.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain backend services, REST APIs, MCP servers, and agent tooling using Node.js and TypeScript
• Design and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployments, release workflows, and production environments
• Build and maintain containerized services using Docker and infrastructure automation tools
• Ensure reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting, performance optimization, and security best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues across application and infrastructure layers
• Collaborate on architecture decisions around AI agents, decentralized systems, and scalable production infrastructure
