Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a PhD program in Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • First-author work published in top robotics/AI conferences and journals (e.g., RSS, CoRL, ICRA, IJRR, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, EMNLP).
  • Exceptional Python skills; familiarity with C++, CUDA, and Warp is a plus; strong ML framework experience (PyTorch or JAX).
  • Experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS2 and simulation tools like Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Newton, MuJoCo.

Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms, foundation models, and methods for robotic manipulation and/or loco-manipulation.
  • Integrate methods into real-world robotic manipulation systems with various robot platforms.
  • Contribute to multi-person research projects across robotics and machine learning stacks.
  • Engage with the academic community through high-impact publications, conferences, and code releases.
  • Develop AI agents to accelerate research while ensuring correctness, reproducibility, and security.
