Apple is seeking research interns to create breakthroughs in machine learning, computer vision, computer graphics, and related areas. The internship focuses on 3D reconstruction, depth estimation, neural rendering, view synthesis, and image/video synthesis, working with world‑class researchers and engineers.

The program fuels cutting‑edge technologies across the Apple ecosystem and emphasizes publication in top venues.

Qualifikationen

• Working towards a doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, data science, applied mathematics, or equivalent.
• At internship end, you must return to school or the internship must be the last requirement to graduate.
• 6 months dedication preferred, starting no later than March 2026.
• Fluency in Python and experience with PyTorch.
• Proven research expertise in machine learning and/or computer vision.
• Publication record in top-tier conferences (e.g., CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS, SIGGRAPH, etc).

Aufgaben

• Identify promising research opportunities and review state-of-the-art methods.
• Craft novel approaches and implement them as code prototypes.
• Plan and run large-scale experiments across multi-node, multi-GPU systems.
• Write a paper and see it through to submission.
