Apple is seeking research scientists/engineers to push the boundaries of machine learning, computer vision and graphics. You will work with world-class researchers to develop image and video synthesis, 3D reconstruction and neural rendering technologies powering Apple products.

You should have a strong publication record and hands-on experience building prototypes that achieve state-of-the-art results, with fluency in Python and experience with PyTorch or JAX.

Minimum Qualifications

• Publication record in relevant conferences (e.g., CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS, SIGGRAPH, etc).
• Significant experience building complete prototypes that achieve state-of-the-art performance in your areas of expertise.
• Comfortable across the entire ML research stack, from low-level system programming to high-level algorithm development.
• Solid software engineering skills in complex systems. Fluency in Python.
• Expertise in ML algorithms and top practices for working with deep learning systems.
• Proficiency with ML modeling frameworks (PyTorch, Jax, etc.).
• Strong overall software development approach. You deliver clean, well-tested code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent academic or professional experience.
• Research experience in 3D reconstruction, neural rendering, view synthesis, image & video synthesis.
