Zusammenfassung

ETH Zurich invites applications for a doctoral student position in environmental psychology focusing on how cognitive and moral heuristics influence climate change adaptation measures. The project uses empirical studies and may employ quantitative or qualitative designs, with supervision of bachelor and master students and dissemination at conferences.

Starting January 2027, the fixed-term, 100% position is based in Zurich and offers an opportunity to contribute to research with social impact

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in psychology, environmental science, or social sciences.
• Knowledge and first experiences with descriptive and inferential statistics.
• Advanced German and English skills.
• Ability to think conceptually and work independently.
• Strong interest in research and methodologies from psychology and social sciences.

Aufgaben

• Conceptualization and conduction of empirical studies (quantitative or qualitative designs are possible).
• Writing manuscripts and publishing studies in scientific journals.
• Dissemination of research results (e.g., at conferences).
• Supervising bachelor and master students.
• Supporting lectures.
