Zusammenfassung

Universität Basel in Basel, Switzerland, invites applications to join the Sustainability and Behavior Change group within the Faculty of Psychology. The PhD project examines pro-environmental behavior using lab, online, and field experiments to design effective interventions.

You will design new tasks, run experiments, analyze data, publish results, contribute to teaching, supervise student researchers, and support group organization. The starting date is January 1, 2027.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Psychology or closely related field.
• Interest in pro-environmental behavior and behavior change.
• Strong knowledge of research methods and statistics.
• Experience running laboratory studies or field experiments is a plus.
• Ability to analyze datasets with statistical software.
• Experience designing computerized behavioral tasks or willingness to learn.
• Proficient in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Design new or modify existing behavioral tasks for pro-environmental behavior.
• Conceptualize, design, conduct and analyze lab and online experiments.
• Conceptualize, conduct and analyze field experiments for interventions.
• Disseminate research findings through publications and conferences.
• Contribute to teaching activities (seminars, examinations).
• Supervise student researchers (bachelor's and master's theses).
• Contribute to organizational tasks within the group.
