Zusammenfassung

Universität Basel's Faculty of Psychology invites applications for a PhD position in the Sustainability and Behavior Change group. The project examines pro-environmental behavior through lab, online, and field experiments, and aims to design interventions to promote behavior change.

You will design and run behavioral tasks, conduct analyses, contribute to teaching, supervise student researchers, and disseminate findings at conferences.

Qualifikationen

• Very good master's degree in Psychology or closely-related discipline.
• Interest in pro-environmental behavior and behavior change.
• Excellent knowledge of research methods and statistics; experience with lab studies or field experiments is a plus.
• Ability to analyze datasets using statistical software.

Aufgaben

• Design new or modify existing behavioral tasks for studying pro-environmental behavior.
• Plan, conduct, and analyze lab and online experiments on determinants and consequences of pro-environmental behavior.
• Plan, conduct, and analyze field experiments testing interventions for promoting pro-environmental behavior change.
• Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
• Contribute to teaching activities (e.g., seminars, examinations).
• Supervise student researchers (e.g., bachelor's and master's theses).
• Contribute to organizational tasks within the research group.
