ETH Zürich's Medical Data Science Group seeks a highly motivated Doctoral Student to advance machine learning methods for healthcare. You will conduct independent research, design and evaluate models, and contribute to publications and teaching within an interdisciplinary team led by Prof. Julia Vogt.

The role offers access to ETH Zurich's state-of-the-art infrastructure and opportunities to present work at conferences while developing your doctoral thesis in ML and medical data science.

Formación

• Master's degree in CS/ML or related technical field.
• Strong foundations in math, statistics, and ML with programming skills.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in foundational ML research and healthcare applications.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct independent research on novel ML methods for medical data.
• Design, implement, and evaluate ML models with rigorous experiments.
• Publish and present findings at conferences and journals, develop thesis.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers and contribute to seminars.
• Support teaching activities and supervise student projects.
