Job summary

University of British Columbia is seeking a Project Manager for Pharmacovigilance to lead PV project teams and ensure contracted milestones are met. The role requires strong PM skills, PV knowledge, and experience with client communications and budgets.

The position is fixed-term for six months, with responsibilities spanning Start-up to Close-Out, invoicing oversight, and cross-functional coordination across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years direct project management experience at a CRO or pharmaceutical company and/or 4 years of PV experience.
• Knowledge of global and local PV regulations and legislation, pre- and post-marketing, preferred.
• Strong project management, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with clients.
• Ability to identify, document, track and resolve project action items for multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Manages PV projects as assigned within scope, budget and timelines.
• Ensures on-time, on-budget delivery of contracted Scope of Work.
• Oversees PV conduct from Start-up through Close-Out.
• Serves as primary client contact and coordinates internal and client teleconferences/meetings.
• Prepares project timelines, plans and KPI reports.
