Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to plan and execute investment and process improvement projects in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role emphasizes technical project management, concept development, and cross-functional coordination to deliver timely results.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering and have 5–10 years of industry experience, with fluency in German and English to effectively communicate with stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of technical, business, and financial processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Independent, structured, and flexible working style.
• Innovative and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and realize investment projects with direct impact on production and business results.
• Process engineering calculations and plant optimization activities.
• Feasibility studies for new installations and modifications of existing facilities, including cost estimation, scheduling, and functionality assessments.
• Support production adjustments and product launches.
• Development of technical concepts and project solutions.
• Evaluate and compare technical solutions.
• Assess advantages, disadvantages, risks, and implementation feasibility.
• Coordinate internal and external resources.
• Ensure professional and timely project execution.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation of optimizations and best practices.
