Avacone is seeking a PeopleSoft Analyst/Developer to maintain and enhance our PeopleSoft applications. You will work with business stakeholders to translate needs into functional and technical specifications, delivering changes from design through deployment.

You will also troubleshoot production issues to keep critical processes running reliably. Required are hands-on PeopleSoft development, PeopleTools, SQL, and strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to business users

Responsabilidades

• Analyze business processes and requirements and propose solutions using PeopleSoft functionality.
• Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft enhancements, reports, batch processes, and integrations using PeopleTools.
• Investigate production issues across application logic, data, and interfaces; identify root causes and fix.
• Develop test scenarios and support UAT; coordinate testing activities.
• Support releases and upgrades including impact assessment and post-deployment validation.
• Maintain functional/technical documentation and ensure security and change management standards.

Role Overview

We are seeking a PeopleSoft Analyst / Developer to maintain and enhance our PeopleSoft applications. In this role, you will work with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and deliver changes from design through deployment. You will also troubleshoot production issues and help keep business-critical processes and integrations running reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and requirements, assess the impact of proposed changes, and recommend solutions using delivered PeopleSoft functionality where practical.
• Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft enhancements, reports, batch processes, and integrations using PeopleTools.
• Investigate production issues across application logic, data, scheduled processes, and interfaces. Identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Develop test scenarios, perform unit and integration testing, and support business users during user acceptance testing.
• Support releases, PeopleTools upgrades, and application updates, including impact assessment, regression testing, and post-deployment validation.
• Maintain functional and technical documentation and follow established standards for security, data privacy, and change management.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft application development and production support, with functional knowledge of at least one module in PeopleSoft HCM, Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM), or Campus Solutions.
• Proficiency with PeopleTools, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, and Application Engine.
• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to investigate data discrepancies, troubleshoot batch processes, and diagnose query performance issues.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional and technical specifications.
• Experience testing application changes and supporting their deployment to production.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to business users and collaborate with technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, or REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface, BI Publisher, or PeopleSoft Query.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, or PeopleTools upgrades.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft security, including roles, permission lists, and row-level access.
