Job summary

EY is seeking a payroll consultant to join the People Advisory Services team in Zürich. You will support national and international clients with payroll and HR administration, manage payroll accounting, and coordinate with tax authorities and social security bodies.

You will collaborate with nearshore and offshore teams to ensure timely monthly payrolls, contributing to business development and client networking.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship, with a strong interest in payroll.
• One to two years of practical experience in payroll and social security/employment tax.
• Proficient in English and German; French and/or Italian language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support national and international clients in payroll and HR administration
• Manage payroll accounting, including communication with clients, tax authorities, and social security institutions
• Collaborate with our nearshore and offshore teams to ensure timely completion of monthly payroll processes
• Contribute to business development activities, including client acquisition and local networking
• Work on exciting internal and external projects from day one, gaining in-depth insights into a broad range of technical topics, industries, and business functions
