Geneva Association is seeking a highly motivated trainee or recent graduate to contribute to climate change and environment research projects under the supervision of the Director. This paid 12-month role will involve desk research, data analysis, and preparation of graphs and presentations.

You will engage with multi-stakeholder roundtables and support outreach for research reports, webinars, and conferences, gaining exposure to policy, economics, and risk management related to climate

Qualifikationen

• Near completion of a university degree in civil/environmental engineering or related field with interest in climate resilience and decarbonisation.
• Strong research and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; proactive and autonomous working style.

Aufgaben

• Perform desk research and draft Climate Change and Environment projects with synthesis and reference lists.
• Support development of climate-resilient built environment and energy infrastructure topics.
• Collaborate with the IEA on resiliency of energy systems and infrastructure.
• Summarise discussions from multi-stakeholder roundtables, workshops and interviews; analyze outcomes.
• Conduct empirical analyses using publicly available datasets; design graphs and presentations.
• Assist in outreach of CCE Research reports through webinars and events.
• Coordinate activities of the Climate Change and Environment Working Group and related committees; maintain databases.
• Assist in planning the 2027 Climate Change and Environment Conference, webinars, and events.
• Support other activities as relevant.
