Zusammenfassung

CIEL - Center for International Environmental Law in Geneva offers a Spring 2027 Legal Internship (Climate). The program provides hands-on experience researching environmental and human rights law under senior supervision, with opportunities to contribute to publications and amicus briefs.

Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate law program (LLM/JD) and able to complete 12–24 weeks, 24 hours/week minimum. In-person placement in Geneva with a monthly stipend is provided.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in a graduate program leading to a law degree (LLM, JD) for the duration of the internship.
• Experience or coursework in international environmental or human rights law is preferred.
• Internship must be part of the study program and validated for credits.

Aufgaben

• Research and write on domestic and international law topics, including environmental and human rights law, international investment law, and international trade law.
• Assist with policy analysis and advocacy.
• Attend meetings and conferences and support publications, legal opinions, and briefs.
