Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking an Associate Package Development Engineer to provide technical support in design, development, testing and production scale-up of packaging components. You will work with guidance from packaging leadership and mentors.

The role emphasizes developing packaging for medical devices, validating components, and contributing to risk assessment and compliance activities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• Knowledge of packaging materials and packaging technologies for medical devices.
• Technical writing skills preferred.
• Knowledge of design and manufacturing FMEA preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develops packaging for medical devices with mentor oversight.
• Enhances and validates package components and packaging processes.
• Develops package testing plans and interprets results for various projects.
• Participates in process improvement, cost improvement, quality improvement, change control or task teams.
• Assists in decisions involving equipment, package design, cost saving and source reduction.
• Builds competencies in packaging materials and processes used in manufacturing.
