Avaloq is seeking a detail-oriented Banking Operations professional to join the OTC Derivatives Team. You will process OTC Equity and FX derivatives, ensure timely execution and reconcile trades within SLA and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in back-office order processing is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills.
• High attention to detail, flexibility and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication with peers and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required.

Responsabilités

• Timely and accurate processing of OTC equity and FX derivative products as well as related instruments.
• Follow up with relevant parties to resolve trade exceptions.
• Investigate and resolve outstanding break items (cash and position reconciliations).
• Ensure that operational delivery covering Derivatives activities is managed within SLAs and KPIs to prevent losses/breaches and mitigate risks.
• Escalating any operational risks to Manager for mitigation/solutions.
• Supporting Manager in various tasks including process efficiency/improvement and ensuring that information is duly updated in Key Operating Procedure (KOP).
• Performing User Acceptance Testing as and when required.
