Avaloq in Switzerland is seeking an operations professional to join the OTC Derivatives Team within Banking Operations. You will process OTC equity and FX derivatives and ensure accurate handling within SLAs and procedures.

The role requires strong back-office experience, fluency in English and Italian, and the ability to collaborate with global teams. A hybrid working pattern supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in back-office order processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Proactive attitude with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills.
• High attention to detail, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication with peers and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Italian.

Responsabilités

• Process OTC Equity and FX derivatives accurately and timely.
• Follow up with relevant parties to resolve trade discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve break items (cash and positions).
• Ensure operations meet SLAs and KPIs to manage risk.
• Escalate operational risks to the Manager.
• Support process efficiency improvements and update KOP.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing when required.
