Inova Consulting is seeking an experienced OT Technical Lead to ensure security, reliability, and compliance of Operational Technology systems on site for a major regulated client. You will provide technical leadership across industrial infrastructure, OT cybersecurity and system integration, interfacing production with enterprise IT.

The role requires mastery of IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, and GAMP 5, with hands-on leadership across security controls, validation and risk management.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in OT, CS, Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• 7+ years in OT environments (industrial IT, networks, infrastructure or cybersecurity).
• At least 3 years in a technical leadership role (OT Engineer/OT Lead/Cybersecurity Specialist).
• Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.

OT Technical Lead

Context

For a major industrial client operating in a regulated manufacturing environment, we are looking for an experienced OT Technical Lead. The mission is to guarantee the security, reliability and compliance of Operational Technology systems on site, and to provide technical leadership across industrial infrastructure, OT cybersecurity, system integration and digital transformation. You will be the key interface between the production floor and enterprise IT, and a driving force behind the site's cybersecurity culture.

Your missions

• Design and validate secure OT network architectures: segmentation, DMZs, firewall configurations
• Define and implement cybersecurity controls aligned with IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001 and ISA-95
• Run OT cybersecurity risk assessments, threat modelling and vulnerability assessments, and lead incident response when OT security events occur
• Lead OT/IT convergence projects involving industrial systems, data historians, MES, and hybrid or cloud infrastructures
• Ensure OT systems meet GMP and computerized system requirements (GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, CSV), including risk-based IQ/OQ/PQ validation
• Estimate, plan and deliver OT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects: network upgrades, system modernization, hardening campaigns
• Coordinate external specialists, auditors, system integrators and technology vendors, and manage the associated CapEx/OpEx budgets
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to OT engineers, and define the site's OT technical and cybersecurity standards (patching, backups, password management, secure configuration, network design)
• Monitor emerging technologies (Zero Trust, Edge Computing, Industrial IoT, AI-based anomaly detection) and support Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing initiatives

• Working effectively across Engineering, IT, Quality, EHS, Production and external partners

Profile required

• Master's degree in Operational Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related technical field
• 7+ years of experience in OT environments (industrial IT, networks, infrastructure or cybersecurity)
• At least 3 years in a technical leadership role: OT Engineer, OT Technical Lead or Cybersecurity Specialist
• Experience in a GMP-regulated or comparably regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience managing OT projects and external vendors; Agile, ITIL or COBIT knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent in English and French
• OT cybersecurity frameworks and standards: IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001, ISA-95
• Industrial networks and protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet, Profinet/Profibus, OPC UA, Modbus, DNP3
• Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, Industrial IoT environments
• Security technologies: firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning, SIEM
• GxP compliance: GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, CSV, risk-based validation
• Scripting and automation: Python, PowerShell, SQL
• Strong risk-management mindset, root-cause analysis and problem solving
• Clear communication and stakeholder management across technical and business audiences
