Job summary

coni + partner ag in Geneva is seeking a risk specialist for an OpRisk Process Officer role at a private bank. You will review the risk framework, facilitate identification and management of risk across the bank, and develop methodologies and tools.

You will prepare risk reports, monitor policies for compliance with Swiss regulations, train staff, and liaise with auditors. Residence in Switzerland required; English plus French, German is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• CIA or CPA certification is required or preferred.
• Experience as a risk process manager in an international bank.
• Good knowledge of Swiss banking regulation.
• Knowledge of the risk landscape in banking areas.
• Residence in Switzerland required.
• English and French; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

OpRisk Process Officer

Your Tasks:

• Reviewing existing risk management framework and processes
• Facilitating the process of identifying, evaluating, managing and monitoring risk across the bank including the development of risk management methodologies and tools
• Maintaining a sound high level end to end understanding of relevant business processes, systems and related risks and consulting with business/control process owners on developing processes and controls to manage risks
• Preparation of risk management reports for the regular management meetings and external risk reporting to auditors and stakeholders
• Conducting regular reviews of relevant policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors
• Providing support, education and training to staff to maintain awareness of risk management and internal control within the organization.

Your Profile:

• Master's or Bachelor's
• CIA or CPA
• Experience as a risk process manager in an international bank
• Good knowledge of the Swiss banking regulation
• Knowledge of the risk landscape in the banking areas
• Strong team player
• Ability to work independently
