Job summary

VMG Health seeks an Ophthalmic Compliance Auditor to join its Coding Audit and Compliance team. Responsibilities include conducting documentation audits, coding reviews, and provider education for a broad range of healthcare clients, including physician practices and health systems.

The role requires strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10, CMS guidelines, HIPAA, and the ability to communicate audit findings to providers, administrators, and executives.

Qualifications

• Experience auditing professional coding within Ophthalmology and/or across multiple specialties is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CMS guidelines, and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present to executives.
• Self-directed with ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct documentation audits and coding reviews for ophthalmology and related specialties.
• Deliver provider education and training on documentation, coding, and compliance.
• Prepare audit reports, executive summaries, and corrective action plans.
• Communicate audit findings to clients and senior leadership with clarity.
