UBP - Union Bancaire Privée is seeking a senior Operations & AI lead based in Genf, Switzerland. The role focuses on reviewing end-to-end processes, driving efficiency, and improving service quality while managing risk in a regulated banking environment.

You will collaborate closely with Operations, Management, and IT to identify AI and automation opportunities that deliver measurable value and ensure governance and compliance across operations.

Qualifikationen

Mission

Join the Operations team to review and streamline end‑to‑end processes, gaining efficiency, service quality, and control.

Working closely with Operations, Management, and IT, you will identify opportunities into tangible outcomes leveraging AI and automation where they create clear value while ensuring governance and compliance in a regulated environment.

Main responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize AI/automation use cases in Operations to reduce inefficiencies, bottlenecks, operational risk
• Partner with Data/IT to translate business problems into AI solutions, define data requirements, and ensure model governance and traceability.
• Coordinate AI delivery lifecycle: data sourcing, feature engineering, model training/validation, UAT, deployment, and monitoring
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing operational processes and workflows across the department
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand operational challenges
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality and operational control
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPI to measure process effectiveness and improvements outcomes
• Support change management activities and ensure successful adoption of new processes and operating models
• Ensure that proposed changes comply with regulatory framework, internal policies and risk management
• Document processes, procedures and target operating models
• Your Profile- Master’s degree in finance or Information Technology/Minimum 10 years of experience in Banking Operations
• Hands‑on experience partnering with Data/IT on AI or advanced automation initiatives in an Operations context
• Proven experience in process review, process re‑engineering or continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholders management skills across all organisational levels
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma; Business Process Management or similar methodologies is a strong advantage
• Fluent in French and English; any other language would be a plus
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem‑solving skills
