Job summary

coni + partner ag, Geneva-based client, seeks an Operational Risk Specialist to monitor global OpRisk standards and manage risk data reporting. You will help extend the OpRisk framework across locations and oversee crisis management while coordinating audits and training activities.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, Swiss residence, and experience in risk management at an international bank or insurer. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor globally applicable OpRisk standards and risk management systems.
• Further develop the OpRisk framework globally and monitor subsystems lifecycle.
• Ensure OpRisk framework at all locations worldwide and oversee crisis management organization.
• Support internal reporting with analysis and commentary on risk data.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Assist with organization of training courses, practical exercises and tests.
• Lead risk management projects arising from business situations.

Operational Risk Specialist

Your Tasks:

• As a member of the Operational Risk (OpRisk) team, responsible for monitoring the globally applicable OpRisk standards and risk management systems
• Further developing the OpRisk framework globally and monitoring the lifecycle of the subsystems
• Ensuring the OpRisk framework is in place at all locations worldwide, as well as overseeing the crisis management organisation, its key stakeholders and the further development of the OpRisk manuals
• Responsible for aspects of internal reporting, including the analysis and commentary on risk data
• Providing support during internal and external audits
• Assisting with the organisation of training courses, practical exercises and tests
• Risk management projects arising from the business situation.

Your Profile:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Residence in Switzerland
• Professional experience at an international bank in risk management, internal or statutory audit
• Knowledge of the processes within an international bank or insurance company
