The role includes supporting FMEA, DVP&Nr processes, and 8D problem solving across engine subsystems.

Candidates should have 5+ years in engine & hardware development, strong English skills, and German or French knowledge; MS Office proficiency is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge in combustion engines, DVP&Nr methodology, troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• 5+ years of engine and hardware development experience.
• Experience with engine subsystems (hydraulic, mechanical, electrical).
• Excellent command of English; good knowledge of French or German.
• Excellent command of MS Office.
• Analytical thinker with leadership, flexible and cost-conscious.

Aufgaben

• Define technical specifications of components to be developed and their key operating parameters.
• Work in a cross-functional team to ensure technologies and specifications match project requirements.
• Prepare the planning of development tasks.
• Support FMEA processes and update engine test activities.
• Define, monitor and update DVP&Nr tasks.
• Regularly work with suppliers on technology surveys, component development and tear-downs.
• Responsible for 8D troubleshooting for the concerned subsystem.
• Define maintenance requirements for the subsystem and report status to the platform manager.
• Report subsystem development status and escalation topics to line and product line management.
