Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a nurse to administer first aid and specialized medical treatments in a school setting, working in classroom environments and the nurse's office. The role includes aiding with mandated screenings and coordinating with parents, staff and health providers to ensure student safety and well-being.

Responsibilities include maintaining confidential student health records, managing medications per district policy, and collaborating with the certified school nurse and health team.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work within a classroom environment as well as the main Nurse's office
• Assist with mandated screenings (vision, dental, hearing)
• Assess situations for student safety and other health related issues
• Contact parents to advise them of changes in students' health
• Collaborate with certified school nurse
• Collaborate with parents, students and health care providers
• Foster and maintain positive and effective working relationships
• Maintain students' confidential files and records
• Obtain medications and properly maintain medications for the purpose of adhering to the district medication policies and procedures
• Perform related duties as assigned

Job description

• No less than $28.65per hour based on verifiable similar experience per the negotiated PASS Agreement

Salary for BSN:

• No less than $30.03per hour based on verifiable similar experience per the negotiated PASS Agreement
