Job summary

UBP - Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva seeks a Head of Non-Financial Risk to lead 2nd line risk across the bank and Group. You will advise senior leaders, embed risk culture, and partner with 1LOD to strengthen controls and governance.

The role focuses on operational, cyber, third-party and conduct risk, building a high-performing team and ensuring regulatory readiness across locations including Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in non-financial risk management within private banking.
• Proven ability to advise senior leaders and navigate governance across 2LOD.
• Strong risk governance, incident management and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior trusted advisor on non-financial risk to enable sustainable growth.
• Provide oversight on risk profile, themes, controls and risk in change.
• Lead governance across committees, reporting and decision processes.
• Ensure material risks identified, assessed, and reported with ownership.
• Collaborate with 1LOD and divisions to strengthen control environment.
• Uplift risk culture through governance, data, tools and processes.
• Oversee thematic reviews driven by risk monitoring and emerging risks.
• Manage program risks, issues and actions with senior stakeholders.
