University of Basel is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to investigate how neural pathways regulate immune responses within tumours and how neuro-immune circuits can be leveraged to enhance anti-tumour immunity.

The Dixon Lab at the Department of Biomedicine offers cutting-edge approaches such as in vivo tumour models, neuronal tracing, single-cell sequencing, spatial biology, and advanced imaging to dissect neuro-immune interactions.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in immunology, cancer immunology, neuroimmunology, or related field.
• Strong background in immunology with hands-on experience in vivo mouse work.
• Extensive flow cytometry experience and immune-cell phenotyping.

Aufgaben

• Lead an interdisciplinary project at the interface of immunology, neuroscience, and cancer biology.
• Investigate neural pathways regulating immune responses in tumours and anti-tumour immunity.
• Apply in vivo tumour models, neuronal tracing, and transcriptomics to study neuro-immune interactions.
