Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd in Luzern/Emmen, Switzerland, is seeking an NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing on aircraft parts using MT, PT and optional RT. You will prepare inspection reports, defect documentation and non-conformance records, ensuring compliance with instructions and drawings.

Candidates should have MT/PT Level 2 per EN 4179, with additional methods such as RT/ET/VT/UT being advantageous.

Qualifications

• MT and PT Level 2 according to EN 4179 are required.
• Additional methods such as RT, ET, VT, and UT are advantageous.
• Level 3 certification according to EN 4179 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing on aircraft parts using MT, PT (and RT if applicable).
• Prepare inspection reports and instructions.
• Create defect documentation and non-conformance reports.
• Interpret drawings and ensure inspections per specifications.

NDT Inspector

Your Tasks

• Perform non-destructive testing on aircraft parts made of various materials using the following methods:
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
• Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Radiographic Testing (RT) - optional
• Prepare inspection reports and inspection instructions.
• Create defect documentation and non-conformance reports.

With this you convince us

• Completed technical studies and experience in mechanical construction
• MT and PT Level 2 certification according to EN 4179 and additional methods such as RT, ET, VT, and UT are advantageous
• Level 3 certification according to EN 4179 is an advantage.
• Good MS Office skills and SAP user knowledge and fluent German or English, written and spoken; English minimum level B1
• Able to independently perform inspections according to instructions and specifications.
• Understands component and assembly drawings.and able to create inspection instructions
