Job summary

Aerospace manufacturing in Switzerland is seeking a non-destructive testing specialist to inspect aircraft parts using MT, PT and optional RT methods. You will prepare inspection instructions and defect documentation, contributing to quality control across production stages.

Applicants should hold MT and PT Level 2 per EN 4179, with EN 4179 Level 3 an advantage; RT, ET, VT or UT certs are beneficial. Fluency in German or English is required; SAP and MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed technical studies and experience in mechanical construction.
• MT and PT Level 2 certification according to EN 4179.
• Additional certification in RT, ET, VT or UT is advantageous.
• Level 3 certification according to EN 4179 is an advantage.
• Good MS Office skills and SAP user knowledge.
• Fluent German or English, written and spoken; English minimum level B1.
• Able to understand component and assembly drawings and create inspection instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing on aircraft parts made of various materials.
• Apply Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) methods.
• Optionally perform Radiographic Testing (RT).
• Prepare inspection reports and inspection instructions.
• Create defect documentation and non-conformance reports.
