Job summary

GloJobs supports the UN Office in Geneva (OHCHR) as a Web Content Management Officer, coordinating multilingual web development and translation needs for the OHCHR site. The role spans content planning, accessibility compliance, and collaboration with global content providers.

The position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, plus extensive experience with CMS platforms and translation management; involvement in Drupal and AI translation tools is desirable.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Communications, Computer Science or related area.
• Equivalent combination of education and two years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and develops the OHCHR website in multiple languages (EN/FR/ES/AR/CN/RU) within the CMS context; plans, develops and improves pages, navigation, and accessibility.
• Coordinates translation progress and multilingual development across language sites; negotiates translation partnerships and ensures quality across versions.
• Acts as Focal Point for web accessibility issues and analyzes website usage logs to prepare reports; supports content contributors in web formatting.
