Zusammenfassung

ETH Zurich invites applications for a Student Assistant position in the Prenatal Genetics Project within the Health Ethics & Policy Lab. The role focuses on conducting and processing interviews with study participants, mainly in Autumn 2026-27, with flexible hours totaling about 120–150 hours.

The position is hourly-based with 10% appointment and potential hybrid work; training is provided and prior experience in semi-structured interviewing is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent oral and written communication in French and/or Italian (C1+).
• Strong oral and written communication in English (B2+).
• Ability to discuss sensitive topics in a caring and empathic manner.
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and accurately.

Aufgaben

• Conducting research interviews with participants in French and/or Italian.
• Accuracy checking and data cleaning of interview transcripts in the language they are conducted in.
• Reviewing English translations of interview transcripts for accuracy.
• Administrative tasks supporting participant recruitment and data collection, including scheduling and coordinating interviews with other team members.
• The Research Assistant may also support additional aspects of this project based on interest, time and needs.
