Multilingual Research Assistant — Qualitative Interviews in Bioethics

Zusammenfassung

ETH Zürich’s Health Ethics & Policy Lab is seeking a Research Assistant to conduct and process interviews in French, Italian and English during the 2026-2027 academic year. The role is hourly, mainly in Autumn, with anticipated 120–150 total work hours.

You will work with a doctoral student and project co-PI, and receive training. Responsibilities include scheduling, transcription checks, data cleaning, and contributing to qualitative analyses.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent oral and written communication in French and/or Italian (C1+).
• Strong English communication skills (B2+).
• Ability to discuss sensitive topics with empathy.
• Ability to work independently and accurately.

Aufgaben

• Conduct interviews with study participants in French and/or Italian.
• Accuracy check and data cleaning of transcripts in the conducted language.
• Review English translations of transcripts for accuracy.
• Administrative tasks supporting recruitment and data collection, including scheduling.
