Zusammenfassung

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking an Associate Scientific Director, MSAT, to provide technical leadership across API synthesis, tech transfer, and lifecycle management from development through commercial manufacturing.

You will drive validation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with Regulatory, Quality, External Operations, and Supply Chain to enable robust, scalable, and compliant manufacturing.

Qualifikationen

• BS/BA in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or similar discipline.
• MS/MA in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or similar discipline.
• PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or similar discipline.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and execution of MSAT strategies for commercial manufacturing and lifecycle management.
• Serve as technical authority for late-stage clinical and commercial manufacturing processes across API synthetics.
• Translate lab and pilot-scale processes into robust, scalable, validated manufacturing operations.
• Lead investigations, root-cause analyses, and implement engineering/process solutions.
• Develop manufacturing control strategies ensuring quality, robustness, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee end-to-end technology transfer from Technical Development to commercial manufacturing.
• Coordinate process validation, engineering studies, and comparability assessments for readiness.
• Collaborate with CDMOs for successful process implementation.
