Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking an Associate Scientific Director for Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) to lead technical programs across API synthesis and manufacturing, ensuring robust, compliant processes from development through commercialization.

The role spans technology transfer, process validation, lifecycle management, and global collaboration with Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to enable reliable product supply.

Qualifikationen

• BS/BA in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or similar with 14+ years of experience.
• MS/MA in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or similar with 8+ years of experience.
• PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or similar with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT), technology transfer, process validation, lifecycle management.
• External Manufacturing / CDMO oversight, regulatory submissions & inspections.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, collaboration across functions.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and execution of manufacturing science & technology strategies for commercial manufacturing.
• Act as technical authority for late-stage clinical and commercial API processes.
• Translate lab and pilot processes into scalable, validated manufacturing operations.
• Drive cross-functional investigations, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Support regulatory filings, inspections, and lifecycle management activities.
