Julius Baer in Switzerland is seeking a proactive Operational Excellence Officer to join the COO Real Estate Team. You will drive end-to-end mortgage operations, ensure data integrity, and support regulatory compliance across the mortgage lifecycle.

You will partner with Front Office, Credit Risk, Legal and IT to implement automation and process improvements, shaping future-state workflows and client journeys.

Qualifikationen

• Completed tertiary education — university degree or commercial qualification (EFZ) with relevant further training.
• 3–5 years of solid experience in Swiss mortgage operations or loan administration within private banking or retail financial institutions.
• In-depth knowledge of the Swiss mortgage lifecycle, product types, collateral handling, and related operational workflows.
• Experience in data management, reporting and operational controls; familiarity with regulatory expectations is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities and interest in process optimisation, both in daily tasks and large-scale transformations.
• Enjoys project-based work; self-motivated with initiative and follow-through.
• Ability to work autonomously while building relationships across departments and hierarchies.
• Fluency in German and English; French or Italian is an asset.
• Advanced user of MS Office; experience with core banking platforms or CRM/loan systems beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Oversee end-to-end mortgage operations and lifecycle management from initial booking to settlement.
• Execute transactional activities including new loans, amendments, refinancing and system updates.
• Ensure data integrity across core banking and real estate systems as a trusted source of truth.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Mortgage Advisory, Credit Risk, Legal and external partners to guarantee seamless experiences and operational agility.
