Job summary

Thomson Reuters Labs is seeking a curious Applied Science Intern with a passion for machine learning and NLP. The six-month internship involves a full model development lifecycle and collaboration with a global team across multiple time zones.

You will learn from world-class researchers and engineers, contribute to applied R&D, and work on real-world challenges across core Thomson Reuters segments. Location is London with a flexible start date.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or holding MSc/PhD in ML, NLP, CS or related field.
• Hands-on NLP/ML with exposure to LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python with DL/ML/NLP frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full model development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams across time zones.
• Experiment with new approaches and contribute ideas for information retrieval and NLP applications.
