Zusammenfassung

Flexion is seeking a hands-on Robotics Engineering Intern (Mechatronics) to take ideas from sketch to working hardware on a real humanoid robot. You will design and integrate mechatronic extensions, build manipulators and sensor payloads, and shepherd them from CAD through fabrication to robot-ready integration.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers, gain practical hardware-in-the-loop experience, and contribute to the deployment of robot capabilities.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing MSc in robotics/mechatronics/mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with robotic systems.
• Experience with at least one CAD tool (SolidWorks/Onshape).
• Proficient in C++ and Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Autonomous and collaborative working style.

Aufgaben

• Design mechatronic extensions to robot fleet (manipulators, sensor payloads).
• Maintain and extend the robot fleet.
• Take designs from concept through CAD, prototyping, and fabrication to validated hardware.
• Integrate hardware with software stack including drivers and commissioning on real robots.
• Test, iterate and refine designs based on real-world performance.
• Document designs and integration steps for team reuse.
