Voltiris, based in Lausanne, seeks a Mechanical Engineer intern (or working student) to ensure installation readiness for agrivoltaic projects. You verify CAD models, BOMs, tools, and installation sequences before crews depart for sites.

You will work with installation crews and report to the Director of Installations & Maintenance, conducting dry-runs, checklists, and field feedback loops to improve design and readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering student or recent graduate in mechanical, electrical, or systems.
• Proficiency in English; French, Dutch or Polish a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Design CAD models and drawings for structures, mounts, and site adaptations.
• Ensure design-to-reality by checking tolerances, brackets, fasteners, cable lengths; keep BOMs traceable.
• Create and own pre-installation checklists covering parts, tools, torque specs, sequence, edge cases.
• Dry-runs and mock assemblies in the workshop before shipping parts to site.
• Plan kitting so no missing items on site; collaborate with installation crews.
• Incorporate field feedback to CAD models, BOMs, and checklists.
