CERN's LHCb group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the LHCb design office, contributing to CAD modelling of the detector and developing digital twin methodologies to support installation planning, maintenance, and operation for future milestones of the experiment.
You will collaborate with physicists, engineers, and technicians to convert conceptual requirements into practical designs, produce 3D models and drawings, and assist with manufacturing, assembly, testing, and installation
You will join the LHCb Technical Coordination section of the LHCb group. You will be part of the LHCb design office, contributing to the CAD modelling of the LHCb detector and helping to develop LHCb digital mock-up and digital twin methodologies that will support installation planning, maintenance, and operation for the next milestones of the experiment.
