Zusammenfassung

Lonza Visp is seeking a seasoned Material Requirements Planner to ensure timely material availability for the product supply plan. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and liaison across planning, procurement, and production.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in material planning, CPIM certification, and strong SAP MM plus MS Office and PowerBI skills. Office-first with up to 20% remote work is supported in Visp, Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent experience in SCM, Procurement or any relevant field.
• Min. of 5 years’ experience as a Material Requirements Planner.
• Required CPIM certification.
• Experience in SCM, Materials Planning/Scheduling and/or Purchasing.
• Good knowledge of SAP, especially MM and MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint), PowerBI.
• Good communication and presentation skils.
• Fluency in German or English is required. Both will be preferred.
• Strong Teammate and able to work across cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Ensure Materials Requirements Plans are completed to guarantee timely material availability for the product supply plan.
• Liaise with key functions to update material plans amid changes to plans or material availability issues.
• Support inventory planning and optimization initiatives through routine tasks.
• Convert planned orders into material plans (Purchase Requisition, BANF) and manage material requirements.
• Coordinate with MPLs to keep material plans up to date and responsive to changes.
• Maintain material planning parameters in planning systems.
• Convert material requirements into Purchase Orders.
• Expedite material availability via procurement and inbound processing teams.
• Develop and monitor material KPIs and measures.
• Execute material availability actions to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop safety stock and inventory plans meeting production.
• Work with Operational Buyers on supplier-related queries.
• Track and escalate on-time material availability and test material releases for production.

What You Will Do

• Perform all duties to ensure the Materials Requirements Plans are completed to ensure the timely availability of materials to support the product Supply Plan
• Responsible to liaise with all key functions to ensure timely updates to material plans considering changes to plans or material availability issues
• Execution of key tasks to support inventory plans and optimization initiatives
• Perform all routine tasks to convert planned orders into material plans (Purchase Requisition, BANF) including the creation and management of material planned requirements
• Liaison with Material Project Leads (MPLs) to ensure all material plans are up to date and responsive to changes in material requirements
• Creation and maintenance of detailed material planning parameters in Planning systems
• Conversion of the material requirements plan (purchase requisitions) into Purchase Orders
• Expediting material availability through liaison with procurement and teams involved with inbound material processing
• Creation and management of material related KPIs and measures to ensure accurate understanding of material availability
• Execution of key material availability, mobilization or write actions to support optimal management of inventory while reducing scrap/waste (SMOG)
• Liase with key stakeholders (MPLs, Material Analysts) to develop safety stock and inventory plans to meet production plans
• Close cooperation with Operational Buyers for supplier related questions
• Track, report and facilitate on-time material availability (drive escalations) including testing and accountability with material releases for production

What We Are Looking For
