Abbott is seeking a motivated intern for Marketing within the Established Pharmaceuticals Business in Basel, Switzerland. This 6–12 month assignment offers hands-on experience in global marketing, portfolio management, business development, and alliance management, with a 20–30% focus on biosimilars and portfolio expansion.

You will work with senior leadership on high-impact initiatives, develop strategic recommendations, and gain international exposure while building leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an MBA program or a Master’s degree program.
• Experience turning insights into actionable recommendations and building business cases.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic marketing and portfolio initiatives across international markets.
• Lead a strategic project representing 20–30% of the assignment on biosimilars and portfolio expansion opportunities.
• Collaborate with Biosimilars and Portfolio Expansion leadership to assess partnerships into new geographies, products, and indications.
• Conduct portfolio reviews, competitive analyses, and market prioritization across geographies and therapeutic areas.
• Develop strategic recommendations and present findings to senior leadership.
• Coordinate global business cases and financial models aligned with regional teams.
• Participate in due diligence for partnerships, licensing, and strategic collaborations.
• Support governance and alliance management activities with key stakeholders.
