Job summary

Abbott in Basel, Switzerland is offering a 6–12-month Portfolio Strategy & Innovation Internship. You will support portfolio strategy, governance, and growth opportunity evaluation across the Established Pharmaceuticals Business.

You will work closely with the Global Head of Portfolio and Program Management to develop structured concepts for future investment decisions. The role involves data analysis, disease-area strategy development, dashboard creation, and cross-functional collaboration with

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to portfolio data.
Experience in strategic planning, consulting, or corporate strategy.
Ability to develop executive-ready presentations and business cases.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across functions.

Responsibilities

Support portfolio strategy activities through data analysis and governance support.
Contribute to disease area strategy development and portfolio prioritization.
Prepare executive-ready summaries, dashboards, and governance materials.
Track portfolio performance metrics and milestones.
Lead selected workstreams and collaborate with Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.
