Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a MAIT-focused engineer to plan, coordinate and review manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing work for aerospace hardware in Zürich, Switzerland. You will liaise between production and project management to ensure on-time, quality handovers.

The role involves coordinating readiness reviews, reporting status to the project manager, leading integration concepts and tooling development, and supporting manufacturability/design-to-cost reviews from early phases.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally aerospace or space.
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• Strong planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and review project work in Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Testing (MAIT).

Your tasks

What you bring

• University degree or technical college degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
• 1-3 years of hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally aerospace or space
• Hands-on mentality with good planning and communication skills
• Customer- and product-oriented mindset
• Enjoys interdisciplinary work with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and product assurance
• Good knowledge of MS Office

• Workload: 100 %
• Option of a permanent position after the assignment if both sides want it
