PwC Switzerland is looking for a Manager in Cloud, Data & AI to lead client transformations and turn data into trusted, scalable assets. You will drive data governance, platform initiatives, and AI-readiness from strategy to execution while partnering with senior stakeholders across PwC teams.

You will translate business priorities into practical data strategies, design scalable governance, and guide the modernization of data platforms in cloud environments, delivering measurable business value

• Lead client engagements and delivery teams across data governance, data management, data quality, metadata, master data, data platforms, and AI-readiness initiatives.
• Translate business priorities into practical data strategies and roadmaps connecting platform capabilities, governance structures, and business value.
• Design scalable governance frameworks with policies, controls, and adoption mechanisms embedding data accountability.
• Guide clients in modernising enterprise data platforms by shaping requirements, target architectures, delivery plans, and operating models for cloud analytics and AI use cases.
• Lead the design and delivery of scalable data products from requirements to adoption.
• Manage stakeholders by facilitating workshops, aligning business and technology teams, and communicating complex topics clearly.
• Develop high-impact client deliverables including maturity assessments, operating models, roadmaps, and executive presentations.
• Drive business development by shaping propositions, proposals, and client relationship development.

As a Manager in PwC's Cloud, Data & AI team, you will take a leading role in helping clients transform data into trusted, scalable, and business-critical assets. You will drive complex data management, governance, platform, and AI-readiness initiatives from strategy through execution, helping organisations build the foundations for better decisions, smarter operations, and sustainable digital growth.

You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, multidisciplinary PwC teams, and technology specialists to shape high-impact transformation programmes, translate ambition into pragmatic delivery, and create measurable value through modern data and AI capabilities.

Your Impact

• Lead client engagements and delivery teams across data governance, data management, data quality, metadata, master data, data platform, and AI-readiness initiatives, ensuring strong outcomes, clear ownership, and high-quality execution.
• Translate business priorities into practical data strategies and roadmaps that connect platform capabilities, governance structures, and measurable business value.
• Design and implement scalable governance frameworks including decision forums, ownership models, policies, standards, controls, and adoption mechanisms that embed data accountability across the organisation.
• Guide clients in modernising enterprise data platforms by shaping requirements, target architectures, delivery plans, and operating models for cloud-based analytics, automation, and AI use cases.
• Lead the design and delivery of scalable data products, from business requirements and use-case prioritisation through solution design, data modelling, engineering coordination, testing, and adoption.
• Manage stakeholders with confidence and credibility by facilitating workshops, aligning business and technology teams, resolving delivery challenges, and communicating complex topics in a clear and compelling way.
• Develop high-impact client deliverables including maturity assessments, target operating models, implementation roadmaps, business cases, governance playbooks, platform blueprints, and executive presentations.
• Drive business development and market growth by shaping propositions, developing proposals, contributing to RfP responses, supporting commercial discussions, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships.
• Coach and develop team members by providing guidance, feedback, and day-to-day leadership that strengthens delivery quality and builds the next generation of data and AI consultants.

Your Skill Set

• A degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant executive education are an advantage.
• Significant consulting experience in an international, client-facing environment, with a strong track record of managing workstreams or projects within data, technology, analytics, or digital transformation programmes.
• Strong expertise in data management and governance including data quality, metadata, master data, lineage, ownership, stewardship, policies, controls, and operating model design.
• Practical experience with enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or similar, with the ability to connect business needs to modern cloud data architecture and delivery concepts.
• Experience leading workshops and engaging senior stakeholders across business and technology functions, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and build alignment around pragmatic solutions.
• Commercial mindset and proposal experience including contribution to sales opportunities, solution design, pricing, and client relationship development.
• Recognised data, cloud, governance, or AI certifications such as DAMA CDMP, Microsoft DP-600, DP-700, Azure certifications, Snowflake SnowPro Core, Databricks certifications, or similar are a plus.
• Excellent written, spoken, and visual communication skills in English and German; additional languages are an advantage.
