Job summary

Fouquet’s Promenade Gstaad, opening December 2026, seeks a Chalet Housekeeper (M/F) to oversee housekeeping for the exclusive 1,500 m² private chalet in Gstaad.

The role supervises a small team, ensures pristine suites and public areas, coordinates with other departments, and upholds five‑star standards for VIP guests.

Contract runs 07.12.2026–28.02.2027; salary ranges 4,200–4,500 CHF gross base per month plus pro‑rata 13th month; EU nationality required for Swiss work permit eligibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality Management with a specialization in Rooms Division or Accommodation Management.
• Proven experience in a similar position within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Fluent in French and English; a third language is an asset.
• Excellent general knowledge, with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized, dynamic, and detail-oriented.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Thorough understanding of the expectations and requirements of a high-end clientele.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond efficiently to urgent guest requests. Multitask, versatile, and fully committed to delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 3 Room Attendants.
• Ensure the impeccable cleanliness and maintenance of all suites, residences, and public areas throughout the property.
• Coordinate and monitor the work of the Room Attendants.
• Conduct inspections of suites and residences for arrivals and departures, ensuring cleanliness, guest amenities, VIP setups, and compliance with standards.
• Manage housekeeping equipment, linen, inventories, carts, and minibars.
• Train the Housekeeping team on policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Handle unexpected situations promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
• Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate Housekeeping operations with other hotel departments.
