Fouquet’s Promenade Gstaad, part of the Barrière Group, is seeking a Chalet Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations for an exclusive 1,500 m² private chalet in the heart of Gstaad. You will supervise a small team, ensure pristine suites and public areas, coordinate with other departments, and uphold the highest standards for VIP guests.

The contract runs December 7, 2026 to February 28, 2027 with a monthly gross salary of CHF 4,200–4,500 plus pro-rata 13th month.

Qualifikationen

• EU nationality required for Swiss work permit eligibility.
• Degree in Hospitality Management with a specialization in Rooms Division or Accommodation Management.
• Fluent in French and English; a third language is an asset.
• Excellent general knowledge with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized, dynamic, and detail-oriented.

Fouquet’s Promenade Gstaad is looking for a Chalet Housekeeper (M/F).

Opening in December 2026, Fouquet’s Gstaad is the Barrière Group’s latest luxury destination in Switzerland. Blending Alpine spirit with French refinement, this exceptional property features 33 rooms (including 11 suites and 6 apartments), an exclusive 1,500 m² private village chalet, an 800 m² spa, and the iconic Japanese restaurant Zuma.

The Chalet Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, team supervision, and presentation of Fouquet’s Promenade Gstaad, an exclusive 1,500 m² private chalet located in the heart of Gstaad village.

As Chalet Housekeeper, you play a key role in ensuring the impeccable cleanliness, linen management, VIP setups, and service excellence of this exclusive property.

Job Description

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE…

• Supervise a team of 3 Room Attendants.
• Ensure the impeccable cleanliness and maintenance of all suites, residences, and public areas throughout the property.
• Coordinate and monitor the work of the Room Attendants.
• Conduct inspections of suites and residences for both arrivals and departures, ensuring cleanliness, guest amenities, VIP setups, and compliance with the property's standards.
• Manage housekeeping equipment, linen, inventories, housekeeping carts, and minibars.
• Train the Housekeeping team on the property's policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Handle unexpected situations promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
• Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate Housekeeping operations with the hotel's other departments.

Contract type: Fixed-term seasonal contract (07.12.2026 - 28.02.2027)

Compensation: 4,200 - 4,500 CHF gross base salary per month (depending on experience) + pro-rata 13th month

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and English; a third language is an asset.
