Job summary

Astrafy is seeking a data-driven BI professional to join our Genf team. You will bridge business and technical sides, shaping dashboards in Looker and data models in BigQuery to empower clients with actionable insights.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, refine requirements, build LookML models, and ensure scalable, user-friendly reports in an international environment. Proficiency in SQL, dbt, Git, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-grade BI tools (Looker, Data Studio) required.
• Advanced SQL knowledge required.
• Good understanding of Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Function).
• Strong knowledge of dbt and Git.
• End-to-end ETL pipeline design and implementation experience.

Responsibilities

Job description

Your Mission

You will work on different projects to help Astrafy customers get the most out of their data. You will work on the business and technical sides of the customer use case.

Business Side

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business needs.
• Challenge and refine the requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Perform a thorough analysis of the client’s database to assess the available data.
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to validate KPIs.
• Define visualizations and the overall dashboard structure in Looker (using Miro or Figma).

Technical Side

• Build or refine the data model to support Looker’s data exploration (using BigQuery and dbt).
• Develop LookML models for transforming and structuring data.
• Ensure flexibility for users to explore custom reports.
• Focus on usability and clear data presentation.
• Leverage AI‑driven solutions to enhance user experience.

Your Profile

• Experience with enterprise‑grade BI tools is required (Looker, Data Studio).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL is required.
• Google Cloud knowledge (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Function, etc.) is required.
• Good understanding of dbt.
• Good understanding of end‑to‑end pipeline design and implementation (ETL).
• Experience with dbt and Git is required.
• Strong data visualization skills to convey information and results clearly.
• Attention to detail and quality with excellent problem‑solving.
• You have an analytics and solution‑oriented mindset.
• You work well in a team as well as independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (both with your colleagues as well as with external stakeholders).
• You speak English and French fluently.
